Yountville Craftsman Style
This turn-of-the-century family home in the historic district of Yountville has been inhabited over the years by several generations of the same family. The current family members decided to remodel the home to complement their more modern family-oriented lifestyle while keeping the architectural details and feel of the original residence. This extensive remodel includes an apartment for a family member to live independently but easily mingle with the family. The design takes advantage of the original steeply pitched roof by adding a new stair and dormers to create a second floor living and sleeping area that is flooded with light and space.
