Yountville Craftsman Style Remodel
This turn-of-the-century family home in "Old Town" Yountville was owned by several generations of family members until the new owners purchased it with an eye towards keeping the architectural details but remodeling it to complement a more modern and family oriented lifestyle. Keeping with the original owner’s respect for family within the design, this extensive remodel includes an apartment for their aging mother to live independently but to easily mingle with her son's family. The design takes advantage of a steeply pitched roof by adding stairs and a second floor living / sleeping area with dormers that accentuate light and space.
