Gandona Winery, Napa ValleyThe setting is Pritchard Hill overlooking Lake Hennessey. Owned by a family with a rich Portuguese history, the winery consists of wine caves for barrel aging and a native stone and steel building housing tasting and fermentation activities. The butterfly roof collects rainwater for irrigation and supplies solar power. Native stone from the vineyards is used extensively in the walls and floors of the winery, harmonizing with the natural beauty of Pritchard Hill.
