Green Design: Beringer Winery
In this winery’s effort to become more energy efficicent and sustainable, Valley Architects was contracted to update the original design for the winery with an eye towards LEED Certification. Solar panels were added to the existing roof of the barrel aging facility Valley Architects originally designed for Beringer Winery in 2000. The roof shape and orientation was well suited for this subsequent installation, creating a successful design incorporating sustainability.Image
